Windows 7 is also reportedly more secure and stable than Vista, which is welcome news for Windows XP users who kept the older operating system due to so many issues with Vista.

The safest way to secure performance on a computer is to upgrade the memory to 2GB before installing Windows 7. Minimum requirements are usually the least hardware installation needed for software to run, but this can mean it has poor performance. Before installing any software, ensure the computer meets the requirements especially before any users buy Windows 7. Take the requirements and increase the hardware installed to avoid any unnecessary problems, since minimum requirements may still mean poor performance. For Windows 7, upgrade memory, especially if the computer is several years old and hasn’t been upgraded.
